Global Montessori Academy is committed to upholding the standards of a true Montessori school and works to align our standards with Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), founded in 1929 “to maintain the integrity of [Montessori’s] life’s work, and to ensure that it would be perpetuated after her death.” Through its certification and teacher training, AMI strives to maintain the principles of Dr. Montessori and thereby help students worldwide to reach their full potential in society. We currently offer three Children’s House classrooms and a Lower Elementary classroom, each led by a certified Montessori teacher and a classroom assistant. In addition, we have an Upper Elementary classroom for grades four, five, and six. We also have one Infant Community, accommodating up to 6 infants from 8 weeks – 18 months and one Toddler Community, which may accommodate up to 8 children from 18 to 36 months, both led by teachers and assistants with extensive caregiving experience.
