The International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 101 is a progressive, diversified trade union that primarily represents operating engineers, who work as heavy equipment operators, mechanics, and surveyors in the construction industry, and stationary engineers. The operators may work in operations and maintenance in building and industrial complexes, or in the service industries. Regardless of the industry our Kansas City operators work in, it’s our privilege to represent them and create a community where we can grow in our profession together and watch out for each other.
