The Kansas Legislature passed HB 2196, and revised in HB 2703, the implementation of the My Reemployment Plan (MRP) program through the Kansas Department of Commerce (DoC). With few exceptions, any claimant who receives three (3) weeks of unemployment payments is automatically a part of MRP. Once you are eligible for MRP, you will receive an email or letter via USPS with instructions on the steps you need to take in order to remain eligible for UI benefits.
